Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving this year, Dan's dad and brother came into town. We stayed busy taking them sight-seeing and to some local events.

Dinner was excellent and we had a great meal (I did the cooking, so of course it was good- just joking). My dad also joined us. We ate until we were stuffed and then relaxed the rest of the day. It was a nice day.

The next day we took Dan's family to see his boat, we crossed the ferry into Suffolk and enjoyed a nice drive through the country back to Hampton.

On Saturday, we went to Arena Racing at the Hampton Coliseum. This is just a fun family event. The cars are little mini cars. There are 4 50-lap races. Each race is really only 10 miles, if that. It is fun to watch and cheer for your car. Dan and I always cheer for the Army car of course, which is driven by a 15 year old kid. Noleigh though, cheers for number 17, which is one of the few female drivers (and the car has hot pink on it).
