Family in town

Members of my family were able to come into town.  They came in stages, so it kept things interesting and fun.  It was a wonderful blessing to be able to have so many come and visit.  We always love having you and we love you!

Snow Storms and Indoor Play

Last night my Dad and Grams joined us for Christmas dinner.  After dinner we played games than watched White Christmas with Bing Crosby.  As the movie finished I peeked outside and the ground was covered in beautiful snow.  It was an amazing sight to see, until this morning when I woke up to:  

Inside was nice and cozy. . . we enjoyed playing the kids new Kinect and being in our newly completed room!

Christmas 2010

Hard to believe Christmas is already here.  We had a wonderful day spending time together.  I am so grateful we were a family for the holidays.

Winter Wonderland

We had a wonderful time visiting Christmas Town at Busch Gardens.  It was COLD, but a lot of fun.  The shows were wonderful with fun music and the decorations were beautiful.  We enjoyed seeing all the lights and even some South Pole visitors!

Date Night

Two weekends in a row Dan took one of the kids out.  While he and one were out, I was able to spend one and one time with the other.  Here are some pictures from our dates. 

Visit with Santa

We attended our Ward Christmas Party. Of course there was a special visitor. Even though the kids claim Santa isn’t entirely real, I’m grateful they still have the hope that he is.

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree

We were able to have some family time tonight to decorate our Christmas tree.  I love getting out the ornaments.  My mother has given us new ornaments every year since I can remember.  I love to look at them and remember Christmas from my childhood.

Story Time and Pizza

This month the kids have been attending story time at the local library.   The have been reading Mama Torrelli Makes Soup by Sharon Creech.  As an activity they made pizza dough, which we took home and made some yummy homemade pizza!

Grandma’s 85th Birthday

We had the wonderful opportunity to celebrate Gram’s birthday today.  She came and spent the day with us, so we were able to take her for Korean for lunch.  We went to her favorite steak house for dinner than celebrated with cake and ice cream at Dad’s house.  She got something she had been wanting for a long time!  

Safety Day

On the last day of swim, the kids learned about water safety. They enjoyed being able to float around the pool in a boat and then jumping out of it to swim to safety.
