The kids and I joined Dan in Charleston on August 19. We jumped right into the new school year and got busy with Scouts and Activity Days at church. The kids have enjoyed the hotel we’ve been staying in, Homestead Suites. There is a pool, so most days after school the kids go down to swim and I get to enjoy a book. The hotel room is cozy, though small.
